4. Human Needs Food Pantry
The Human Needs Food Pantry has been operating and helping the community since 1982, providing clothing and many other services to people who need them most. They help the elderly, vulnerable families, disabled people, unemployed people and the working poor.
Many people in Montclair are still suffering and economic problems haven’t subsided. That’s why it’s so important to help the most vulnerable people living here in any way possible, and Human Needs Food Pantry is a big part of making that happen.
5. The Montclair Foundation/Van Vleck House & Gardens
The Montclair Foundation is focused on growing and improving the lives of people in the Montclair community. They do so by acting as a conduit for simple and straightforward charitable giving. From there, they’re able to support nonprofit organizations and provide them with the financing they need.
They focus on helping nonprofit organizations meet the needs of Montclair citizens in areas such as health, culture, education, social services and general quality of life. They also run the Van Vleck House & Gardens for the enjoyment of the community.
6. Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris
Mental health is important to all of us and more people are impacted by problems we realize. The Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris is focused on promoting mental health and integrating it with physical healthcare so everyone benefits.
